getting viral Shorts isn't f*cking hard...

so here's a significant tip, that almost NOBODY talks about.

yo whatsup my fellow Shorts creator.

not gonna keep you here for long.

so here is how you can keep your AVD at the end of the video flat-lined even WITH using a CTA. (important for going as viral as possible)

flat line (at the end)

For instance:
‘‘AVD’’ - Average View Duration / Retention
‘‘CTA’’ - Call to Action (to subscribe)

And when you use a CTA in any of your videos, the AVD tends to usually drop, which can be seen with some small/big dips in the chart like here.

dip in the retention chart

so why am i yapping about all of this?

you see, when it comes to AVD, you gotta make sure that people watch as many seconds of the video as possible.

so, here’s how you have that flat-line chart like in the following picture.

Let’s say you make a story about a woman that has hit a car with a shopping cart by accident. and now she has to repair the hole she caused to that car, without the owner catching her.

say she’s now going to use foam, cement & nail paint to repair it and make the hole disappear.

banal example, but telling you this so you understand the following.

Now at the end of the video, say the man comes and is suspicious about that spot she has previously hit.

You show him being suspicious, and now when you want to show the result of what the woman has done (she fixed it and no spot can be seen), you start saying your CTA:

“And if she did a good job, subscribe!” (while showing the end result - the spot that got fixed)

Now do this with every Short as much as possible. show the end result of the story, while using any CTA.

This will make sure people still have something to watch while listening to you yapping about that they should subscribe.

It may not result in much improvement (5%-10%),

but remember this.

In Shorts, you wanna make sure your Shorts are as good as possible, because even a 5%-10% increase can result in your Short blowing up, instead of not blowing up.
